Former Kentucky guard Archie Goodwin has signed with Sigortam.net ITU Basket Istanbul in Turkey’s top-level BSL league.
Goodwin most recently competed in The Basketball Tournament. He spent most of last season with the Maine Red Claws in the NBA G League.

Newly promoted Sigortam.net ITU Basket Istanbul (BSL) added to their roster 25-year old American guard Archie Goodwin (196-90kg-94, college: Kentucky, agency: Inception Sports). He played last summer at Armored Athlete (The Basketball Tournament) in the U.S. Goodwin managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year.
The most of last season he spent at the Maine Red Claws in NBA where in 28 games he recorded very impressive stats: 17.5ppg, 5.3rpg, 4.0apg and 1.3spg. Goodwin also played for Golden Bulls (CBA) in Chinese league. In three games he averaged 9.0ppg, 2.3rpg and 3.3spg.
In 2013 he was drafted by Oklahoma City Thunder (NBA) in first round (29th overall). The former University of Kentucky staris in his seventh season in pro basketball.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his team won D-League Showcase Cup in 2015. Goodwin was also voted SEC All-Freshman Team back in 2013 at his college time.
Goodwin has played previously professionally in NBA (New Orleans Pelicans, Portland Trail Blazers, Brooklyn Nets and Phoenix Suns) and NBA G League (NAZ Suns and Greensboro Swarm).
