Folks around college football should have known that Alabama was going to be a tough out in the SEC Championship game Saturday and the Crimson Tide definitely proved all doubters wrong.
Nick Saban’s bunch thoroughly trampled No. 1 Georgia by a final score of 41-24.
The results gives the Crimson Tide (12-1) their second straight SEC title and likely makes them the No. 1 overall seed in the College Football Playoff rankings, which will be announced at Noon today.

Bryce Young, who is likely the favorite to win the Heisman Trophy at this point, finished 26-44 for 421 yards and 3 touchdowns. He also rushed 3 times for 40 yards and a score.
