A’dia Mathies has made the Top 20 list for the coveted Wooden Award which honors the National Player of the Year.
Mathies is averaging 15.6 ppg, 5.5 rbg, and 2.45 assists per game to lead the #6 team in the country to their best start in SEC history.
Mathies has played her best in games with their toughest opponents and has shown she was been the best player on the floor in those games.
She had a career high 34 points at home vs. Tennessee and hitting shots like the one below sure doesn’t hurt your chances at being player of the year.
