The Enes Kanter case has been nothing less than a roller coaster ride for everyone that has followed it. After the whirlwind of events last week, nearly everyone I have talked to expected a ruling in the case to come this week. Surprise! We got nothing… The NCAA stays very discrete with their eligibility cases and not a single word is being spoken about the status of Kentucky freshman Enes Kanter.

Surprise! We still have nothing.
Oddly though, this week has also brought some silence from fans regarding the case. And that could be for only one of three reasons.
1. Fans are simply tired of chasing the FREE ENES dream and will accept whatever ruling is handed down and when it comes.
2. Fans are not overly optimistic about what the outcome will be when the next ruling is provided.
3. Fans have decided to move on with the season as it is and instead of getting excited about what could be, they are getting excited about what is.
The anxiety that comes with waiting for breaking news can wear on a person. And we all know how long we’ve been waiting for breaking news in the Enes Kanter case. It shouldn’t be any surprise that nothing came out during the past week. Maybe the surprise will come this week in the form on an early present from St. Nick.
