The local star decides to stay local and become a Wildcat.
Zach West, of Lexington Christian, committed to Kentucky on Wednesday. The 6-5, 305lb West is currently ranked #16 on Scout.com at offensive tackle.
West plays left tackle at Lexington Christian, a critical position for a right handed QB, and will only strengthen what is becoming a solid O-Line 2011 recruiting class.

Zack was an ESPNU second team All-American as a junior. He is a candidate for 2010 Kentucky Mr. Football and a preseason All-State Selection.
