We all know that this years team is not last years team. We may not have five first round draft picks, but In a lot of ways, this years team is better. So why hasn’t Ashley Judd been to any games? Last year, many fans questioned Judd’s status as a fan, stating she was more fair-whether than True Blue.
It seems there may be some truth to that as today might be the day Judd get’s her first in person look at this years team.[PRBREAK][/PRBREAK]
It seems she’s been busy finishing up her book and this is the first chance she’s had to come to a game…
I’m sorry.. I don’t buy that. I know she’s busy, but a book? Can’t you work on that at the bar from the Hyatt if you needed to?
Here’s what Judd thinks about this years team..
For all of the talk about the Dribble Drive offense, Calipari’s coaching friends universally note that he doesn’t get enough credit for how well his teams defend year in and year out. The current UK team ranks in the nation’s top 10 in field-goal percentage defense and in the top five in blocked shots.

Judd may come to Saturday’s game against Georgia to get her first in-person look at this year’s squad. She’s been too busy up to this point finishing up her first-ever book project. It’s called “All That Is Bitter and Sweet” and is a collection of diary notes from eight-plus years of visiting various countries over the globe to study human rights and public health issues.
