Wildcats Practice Yesterday and Travel Today

They must prepare for the biggest game of the year. Even if that means practicing first thing on Thanksgiving morning. Joker Phillips and the Wildcats took to the field early yesterday and will take to the road today traveling to Tennessee for the Saturday game. The Wildcats must win to get the better bowl game and to keep fans hungry. The Vols must win to become bowl eligible. That is going to make for a heated battled.

“We started at 8:00 (Thursday) morning instead of 9:30 like we usually do,” Coach Joker Phillips said afterward. “Practice was good. We had a little wind but we might have to play in the wind. This is a stadium where the wind swirls. I thought we threw and caught the ball well (in practice).”

Phillips announced that reserve wide receiver Brian Adams, who strained a hamstring in the Vanderbilt game, will be available for action on Saturday. However, reserve defensive end Nermin Delic will not play at Tennessee because of an injured shoulder.

Kickoff is on Saturday is 12:21 p.m. The game will be televised on the SEC Network. Randall Cobb is excited, I am excited, Big Blue Nation is excited. Let’s go CATS, put an end to the streak.
