Keith Bogans was a four year starter for the Kentucky Wildcat at the beginning of the millennium. He was recruited by Tubby Smith from DeMatha Catholic High School in Hyattsville, Maryland. There he helped lead his high school team to a #3 national ranking and a 34-1 finish in 1999. Most notably Bogans was a driving force behind Kentucky’s amazing 26 game win streak in the second part of the 2002-2003 season. During this, his senior year, the Wildcats won the SEC Championship and entered the NCAA tournament with a lot of people projecting they would win the national title. Keith had his collegiate career come to an abrupt end after a surprising loss in the Elite Eight to Marquette. So where is he now?

Keith Bogans has come full circle in his NBA career. He entered the 2003 NBA draft where he was selected as the 43rd pick in the second round by the Milwaukee Bucks. On that same dame he was traded to the Orlando Magic and played his rookie season during which he started nearly half of his games. He played about 24 minutes per game and contributed nearly 7 points and 4.3 rebounds per game. Despite this fairly successful rookie season by NBA standards Bogans was traded in November 2004 to the Charlotte Bobcats.
During his second NBA season Bogans had a little progression from his rookie season starting in 42 games and averaging 9.6 points per game. Interestingly this would be his highest points per game average to present day and the end of the season would bring yet another move. During the 2005-2006 season Bogans played for both Charlotte and Houston and then went back to Orlando for the 06-07 and 07-08 seasons. During the 2008-2009 season Bogans was traded by Orlando back to Milwaukee who originally drafted him at the beginning of his professional career.
After only 29 games with the Bucks, and no starts, Keith signed with the San Antonio Spurs for the 2009-2010 where he is currently a starter and is bringing 5 points per game in 20 minutes played. Now in his 6th season in the NBA Bogans has played for 5 teams but the 29 year old may be hitting his stride.
