Tuesday vs. Auburn, Kentucky’s Terrence Jones found himself in unfamiliar territory. Perhaps because he was sick, or maybe not. Either way, when the ball was tipped Terrence Jones was on the bench. When the final buzzer sounded, Jones had 35 points.[PRBREAK][/PRBREAK]

“I like the way we started the game,” Calipari said on Thursday. “It wasn’t that we made shots. There was an energy level to what we were trying to do. So if that’s the lineup that gives us a good start then we start that way.”
Whether or not Jones’ 35 point freshman record performance was a result of sitting to start the game isn’t relevant. Coach Cal liking the way his Wildcats started the game with energy is. [B]Does Terrence Jones start on the bench?[/B] I guess we’ll find out on Saturday.
