In NBA Summer League action tonight, two more Cats debut in Las Vegas. DeMarcus Cousins is set to hit the floor at 6pm for Sacramento vs. the Detroit Pistons. Eric Bledsoe plays his first game vs. John Wall’s Washington Wizards at 10pm. SBNation.com has done a breakdown of each game, and I have highlighted the parts about our former Cats.

Summer League is not the kind of game that lends itself well to post-up big men, which has to be considered if Cousins does struggle.

DeMarcus will be playing against Greg Monroe, who was drafted by Detroit in the lottery. Monroe has looked rough early, and I expect Boogie to dominate in the paint as he usually does. The main problem with that is most of these summer games have been guard dominated and not a lot of balls thrown into the post. Boogie might have to get his own by rebounding and creating when he gets the ball.

I really hope John and Eric both start the game guarding each other. If you think the gym was packed last night with Kentucky fans, today will be unreal. It should be a great night of basketball, and I hope all of our former Cats look good and keep improving.
