View from Section 137: Patience is a Virtue

Patience is a virtue because it makes us better people. The definition of the word patience is to tolerate delay. This implies self control and forbearance as opposed to wanting what we want when we want it. How many times have we jumped the gun and found out it would have been better to tolerate delay or had self control? What did we miss out on? Did we hurt someone we love because of lack of patience? Having patience will heal the wounds and it will work itself out fine. Patience is not only a virtue but a necessity for a happy existence. I wish this is how I felt about the recruiting situation at Kentucky. I just want to know for sure who else we are getting NOW!! We all have to wait though. It is going to be like this every year so we might as well get used to waiting.

[*]C.J. Leslie is making Kentucky wait. He was supposed to visit Florida this week but Billy D. decided he didn’t want to wine and dine a guy that wasn’t interested. From all that I have heard C.J. is staying in North Carolina and going to play for the Wolfpack. C.J. is more than likely going to be one and done, so his father wants him to stay close to home. Also, C.J. could be the hometown hero playing for NC State.
[*]Terrence Jones is going to visit Kansas, which furthers the thoughts he will stay out west to play basketball. Jones is tight with several people on the west coast that knows he is one and done, and they do not want him traveling too far away from home. My guess Jones isn’t coming to Kentucky.
[*]Which leaves the thoughts of who will come to Kentucky. As I have said before and everyone thinks I am crazy, but Chris Hill will be a Wildcat. I have spoke to Chris several times over the last couple of days and he has been working out hard. Just so happens that Chris and Enes Kanter have the same trainer. I love the work ethic of Chris as I think he will be pushing Doron Lamb for playing time if everything works out.
[*]Saw a couple of articles today having Eloy Vargas and Kentucky linked in some shape or form. I know that Vargas is being recruited by Arizona very hard and Sean Miller and his staff visited him this past weekend. I look for a lot more talk of Kentucky and Eloy Vargas which will eventually lead to him being a Wildcat. I know, I know, I am crazy!!
[*]One recruit I have mentioned in a recent article is 6’9″ Power Forward Cody Larson from Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Indiana and Kansas has been after him pretty hot and heavy and per Larson’s facebook page he is visiting Florida this week. I wonder when Kentucky will start to get involved with this kid? The forward situation is a question mark for the Cats and not getting Leslie and Jones will make Larson much more valuable.
[*]Tweeted with Stevie Johnson this evening and he is excited about the Spring Game. Here is his first tweet which is about the site
@uk_nationofblue gr8 updates. yet tough for A. Walker
I think we all feel for Antoine, and I hope he gets everything straightened out in his life going forward.
[*]One little thing before I get off of here The Nation of Blue is having a tailgate this weekend at the UK Football Spring Game. The game starts at 1pm, but we plan on being there quite early to get involved in the festivities. We don’t know exactly where we will be, but I am sure we will figure it out before Saturday. You ought to come, because you just never know who will show up!
