I don’t know if anyone has noticed or not, but I have been MIA for the last week trying to move into a new house. I really hate moving. Putting all of your friends in a spot when you ask them to come over and lug, pull, and bleed to move all of your stuff, and you know they don’t want to do it. I know I wouldn’t want to if they asked me. The roughest part, especially for a blogger, is having no internet. I have been sitting here watching my phone trying to keep up as much as possible with the goings on of Eric Bledsoe, the draft, and recruiting. Since I have been in internet prison, I will sum up my thoughts on everything I have missed.

[*]You have a bunch of idiots at the New York Times, who doesn’t have anything better to do than to call and interview people about a poverty stricken kid who just wanted a roof over his head and play basketball. I have tried to keep up with the situation with my blackberry as much as I can, and it seems like the Times will really have a fight on their hands finding any facts. How are they going to prove Bledsoe’s grades are not real? Will every teacher have copies of every assignment he has turned in? Being a teacher myself, I couldn’t tell you half of the kids grades and after I put them on the computer it is on to the next kid. I could tell you how much effort and if they were well behaved, but to know every grade?? No way.
[*]My next thought is on the $1200.00 the coach supposedly gave a lady for rent for Bledsoe and his Mother. What a joke to even question this. Who cares if it is a NCAA violation. The kid lived in a car for a year!! Are we human beings or are we robots? Obviously the NCAA is the latter. If John Wall can pay back money for an AAU trip, why can’t Eric pay back the money for the rent? If I was a father who had a son and was homeless I am going to do whatever I have to do to provide for him and put a roof over my son’s head. I think this is an inexcusable situation and I really doubt the morals of the world we live in.
[*]DeMarcus Cousins could possibly be the #2 pick in the draft and it does not surprise me one bit. Cousins is a warrior and I think his attitude is a plus. I always thought of him as Rasheed/Shaq type player. He has the personality of Shaq off the floor, Sheed on it. I love a player that is cocky when he is between the lines and DeMarcus is definitely that. Some of the best teams in NBA history weren’t nice, they were mean. I hated the Detroit Pistons, they were mean and they were good. Cousins is the same. If it wasn’t for John Wall, I would take Boogie 1st in a heartbeat.
[*]Recruiting has crawled to a snail like pace since the New York Times threw up in last Friday’s paper. You still can’t forget Cal said he is getting one more and I am anxious to see who it is. I think it would be a good idea to get whoever they are going to get to distract from all of the bad press right now. Names which come to mind are Arnett Moultrie(who was rumored to go to Mississippi State), Ryan Rhoomes(going to prep school), Roburt Sallie(who is probably going to Miami, FLA) and who the hell knows. I would think a new recruit would be for this year, but maybe he meant a 2011? Maybe Kenny Payne is grabbing someone right now. Who knows?
[*]I am looking forward to our first live radio show on the website tonight at 10pm. It is hard telling how it will go, so you need to tune in to find out. We will have a live blog setup for you to ask questions and Fake Billy and I will talk about what is going on in the world of Kentucky. As Billy likes to say, it will probably be a train wreck so you have to tune it to at least give us a hard time.
[*]One more thing before I quit boring you, has anyone seen Danny Jett yet? I am starting to get worried!
