UK Hoops started Individual workouts yesterday and coach Mitchell gave us some insights into what you might see this season.
Mitchell mentioned that some players showed up in better conditioning than others and he was impressed with how good the Freshman looked. He stated that freshman Drake and Barnett looked good today . When speaking about Barnett, Mitchell said, “she’s a heck of a shooter”.

It’s great that the “style of play” that UK Hoops played last year, which was dictated by their personnel, has now become “our style”. I think Mitchell has inadvertently taken a page our to Calipari’s play book.
If you listened to the incoming recruits, they confirmed that watching the run the floor style of play last year, had a lot to do with their decision to come to UK.
