Brittany Henderson’s layup with 1.1 second left on the clock gives Kentucky a much needed SEC win as they beat LSU 49-47 at Memorial Coliseum.
Kentucky was coming off a bad loss at South Carolina and really needed this win to stay in the top of SEC.
There was a lid on both baskets as each team shot well below their season averages. Kentucky shot a dismal 29% and LSU didn’t do much better with 32%.
A’dia Mathies led Kentucky with 16 points and Victoria Dunlap had 15.
Kentucky will be back on the court at Georgia this Thursday, gamtime is 7pm and can be seen on FSN.
