The #14 ranked UK Hoops team did nothing to diminish their ranking as they pummeled Mississippi Valley State 90-51.
Kentucky used the big three of Bernisha Pinkett, A’dia Mathies, and Keyla Snowden to take a 51-23 lead into the locker room.
Pinkett had 12, Mathies 10, and Snowden had 9 in the first stanza to keep MVS at bay to correspond with the usual stingy defense they have exibited in early non conference play.
The Wildcats caused the Devilettes to commit 25 turnovers in the 1st half alone, as they finished with 36 miscues for the game.
The second half saw much of the same as UK went on a 17-0 run that lasted 5:48 seconds of the 2nd half and was the final nail in the coffin for the SWAC conference opponent.
Kentucky was led in scoring by Bernisha Pinkett, Bria Goss, and A’dia Mathies as they finished with 13 points.
Keyla Snowden finished with 12 points as she was 4-4 from behind the arc.
Samantha Drake finished with a double double scoring 11 points and grabbing 11 rebounds.
