Saturday was a good day for Auburn fans, as they picked up two huge commitments in basketball and football.
Jordan Price, a 2012 shooting guard out of Georgia, committed to Tony Barbee and the Tigers while on a visit; he was receiving limited interest from Kentucky.
However, one of Alabama’s best 2013 football products, Dee Liner, a defensive lineman from Muscle Shoals, chose the Tigers as well (great name for a defensive lineman, right?).
Kentucky was the first program to offer Liner in the spring, and combined with Auburn, those are his only offers.
He was also receiving interest from Alabama; I would not be surprised if he listens to Alabama if they offer him a scholarship. He has been a Alabama fan his whole life.
Nevertheless, there is another prospect lost to a superior program for UK. The football team is coming, but there is still more to go.
