On the opposite side of the spectrum, UK football isn’t feeling any heat from fans or rivals about potential violations. That’s a nice break from what we have experienced on the basketball side of the program. SEC teams such as Florida, Georgia and South Carolina are all dealing with problems due to agents and players. Kentucky is not.

This was a hot topic at the SEC Media Days. “That’s not good news for our conference,” said Randall Cobb.
“We’re still a part of this SEC conference and we don’t want to hear any bad things about other teams because we’re pushing for those teams whenever they’re playing out of conference games.”
Perhaps programs should offer formal education on what is alright and what isn’t. “Maybe we as players don’t get as much education about it as we should, but I do know this, we know the difference between right and wrong,” Cobb included.
