The University of Kentucky men’s basketball program has added Brian Long and Sam Malone as walk-ons for the 2011-12 season.

Long is the younger brother of Travis Long, who played a season under John Calipari at Memphis. Long is a point guard who [URL=”http://www.northjersey.com/sports/83743887_Dad_s_3-guard_offense.html”][COLOR=#0d1db8]played high school basketball[/COLOR][/URL] for his father, head coach Brian Long, at River Dell High School in New Jersey.
Malone is a point guard from Scituate, Massachusetts.
