Tyrone Pearson: To Card, or Not to Card…

Tyrone Pearson is a 6’ 3”, 265 lb DT from Seneca HS in Louisville. He is also one of the first in the class of 2012 to commit – to Louisville.

The Cats had offered as well, and Pearson was receiving interest from a plethora of other Division I schools (Cincinnati, Eastern Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, MTSU, Ohio State, Purdue, UCF and Western Kentucky to name a few).

Since he is from Louisville, it wasn’t that much of a surprise when he committed to Louisville two weeks ago.

“Two weeks ago? That’s old news, Todd.” Well, yes and no.

You see, he committed to Louisville on February 25th… then DE-committed two days ago. “Holy smokes! Do you think he’s interested in Kentucky still?”

Well, no. You see, Pearson RE-committed to Louisville this morning.

To quote Pearson himself, “Every (sic) since the beginning I have loved Louisville. I had some people in my mind and messing with my thoughts and I let my mind stray away. But I’m committed to Louisville.”

Yeah. So as of this evening, Tyrone Pearson is a Card. Really. He means it this time.
