Trinity’s White Might Become an In-State Battle

The Class of 2013 at Trinity High School (Louisville, Kentucky) is said to be super by many fans. With such high talent, many hope that the ‘Cats can land some of the highly talked about group. With all that talent, defensive back Ryan White is a just a part of rich talent in the school and in the state of Kentucky.

The rising junior has already gained a offer in Illinois. However, White believes that both in-state schools may be next to pull the trigger.

“I already have a offer from Illinois. Kentucky and Louisville are probably the next two that will offer. Tennessee and UCF are also sending me letters. Tennnessee has invited me to camp, but I’m not sure if I’m going yet or not.”

Along with White, Illinois has also offered another 2013 Blue Grass State star in Lexington Catholic quarterback Kyle Bolin. With such high talent in the Class of 2013, it would be hard for the ‘Cats not to land any of it.

With that said, how do the in-state schools stand with White?

“Kentucky is a good program. I feel I could even go there one day if all of likings are in place.”

“Louisville is real nice too. I’ve been up there for a spring game last year.”

While a decision for White may be far away, it might be a good idea for Kentucky to start thinking about offering soon.

With a great body frame already, the defensive star said he bases his game off some already successful people.

“My favorite player is Eric Berry. I think I hit hard, play good coverage, and he’s a really good player. I also like Patrick Peterson.”

White may not be Eric Berry yet, but at 5-foot-9 175-pounds, he could potentially be 200-pounds-plus before his senior season.

What will it take to land this prospect?

“I want to feel really comfortable with the coaches. I want go to a winning program, and I want to see the depth chart and determine if I can come in and play as freshman.”

White also possesses a great work ethic. He told me of what he’s been doing to get better.

“I want to get better. I want to work on my speed, pass coverage, and do all the things to be successful in the game of football.”

White continues to get better everyday, and is sure to have a promising future.
