Over the weekend, Trevor Lacey took an unofficial visit to Alabama. it seems he really enjoyed his time on campus and at the “Iron Bowl” (Auburn vs. Alabama Football game for you basketball folks).
Lacey is a four star shooting guard who ranks #16 at his position according to Scout.com. He has UK listed as “Medium Interest” (that’s the highest he’s given anyone) and does have a scholarship offer.

Here’s some insight into Lacey’s visit to Alabama…
[QUOTE=TideSports.com]2011 combo guard Trevor Lacey came down with his father and head coach on an unofficial visit. Lacey didn’t make it down in time for the basketball team’s practice but went to the football game and liked what he saw.
“It was great,” Lacey said. “It was good environment. You just have to finish.”
Even though he missed the morning practice, Lacey still got a chance to talk to the coaches before the game. It sounds like the staff wants him to come back down this season for a basketball game.
“They want me to come down, see a game, see their system and their style of play,” Lacey said.
2013 standout Chris Walker was also in town for the game Friday. Here are a few comments made by Walker about his visit from his Twitter account.

I left Chris Walker’s tweet in their for a reason.
Alabama has a second year coach in Anthony Grant and the Crimson Tide is definitely on the move. Walker says he enjoyed he liked the coaching staff “def@coachbrannen”. That’s stands for “John Brannen”.
Coach Brannen hails from Covington, KY and was the top assistant at EKU for three years. He’s known for his recruiting and was a big reason VCU is where it is today.
I know Calipari can get just about anyone he wants, but it’s going to be hard to pull in state talent away from Alabama. Especially with someone like Coach Brannen being in the picture.
