The recruitment of Trevor Lacey has kept the teams recruiting him in suspense for months.
Everyone in the state of Alabama and Kentucky are wondering where the Parade All American will play his college basketball.
Looks like only 2 people know where that is.

The Trevor Lacey sweepstakes are over. Lacey will announce his college decision when Butler High School celebrates its Class 4A boys basketball title on April 22. The school is considering moving the event to next Tuesday.
Only Lacey and Butler coach Jack Doss know where Lacey will commit. They aren’t telling anyone, not even Lacey’s parents, William Pride and Freda Lacey.

Trevor is also having some visitors this week as teams try to make their last pitch to grab the 2 time Alabama Mr. Basketball.

While Lacey’s commitment is unknown, he says there are five schools remaining — Alabama, Auburn, Kentucky, Connecticut and Kansas. Connecticut’s national championship on Monday has made no impact on his decision, he said.
He spoke with Alabama’s Anthony Grant on Monday and said Kansas’ Bill Self will visit him on Friday.
“Basically coming in and just talking about their style of play,” Lacey said. “It’s about the supporting cast and playing and life after basketball. I just want to be comfortable the next four years or however long. I want to go somewhere where I don’t want to be home.”

The last comment Trevor made was very interesting to me. If he doesn’t want to be home…mmm….very interesting.
I also thought it was interesting that Trevor changed his announcement date until after the Derby Classic.
I really have no clue where Trevor is going, so this one will be a surprise to everyone when it is announced.
