For months, Tony Wroten Jr has tweeted how much he wanted to become a Wildcat. As of recent, that tweeting and relationship seemed to have cooled substantially.
Tony reported, at one time, that Kentucky had offered him a scholarship, only to have future reports that Tony had never been offered by the Cats… The no offer seemed sensible, knowing that Tony had UK at the top of his list for as long as I can remember.

If Coach Calipari had truly offered and Wroten was as high on Kentucky as his tweets indicated, then it only seemed sensible that Tony would have accepted almost immediately.
All that aside, Tony has apparently cut his list of possible’s to five schools, and for the first time, the Big Blue of Kentucky didn’t make the list. So, whether Tony ever was or wasn’t offered a scholarship doesn’t seemed to be of any importance anymore.
Wroten lists (in no particular order), Washington, Louisville, Villanova, Connecticut and Seattle University.
Wroten hadn’t mentioned Kansas and Tennessee in the past several weeks and it appears as if Wroten’s relationship with Kentucky has cooled off. For months, he’s tweeted about how much he wanted to play for the Wildcats.
It appears as if the UW and UL are Wroten’s top choices, according to recruiting analysts.
Wroten said he’ll announce his decision 3 p.m. Oct. 7 at Garfield High.
N of B’s very own Scott Anderson reported that Tony “loved his visit this weekend in Louisville as he rated his experience on a scale of 1-10, a 15…”
U-Dub or Louisville… A 15, seems Louisville may be his next home. See you in 2011 Tony at the Yum Center…
Go Cats!!!
