The football Cats have changed an aspect of their weekly practice schedule. Instead of having early-morning practice on Friday, they’re having late-night practice on Thursday under the lights behind the Nutter Training Facility. The players are saying that it promotes a bonding experience for the entire team, but it really makes sense.
When are most games played? At night. It’s kind of like the basketball Cats having open practices last year, you’ve got to be prepared for a game-type atmosphere. If the football Cats never played under the lights except on game night, they may have trouble adjusting to the atmosphere.
