Since it seems like all I have been doing is riding around in a truck with Eloy Vargas lately, I figured I would throw out some thoughts from a long week.

[*]People are crazy. I blows me away that “fans” ***** and moan about paying for an autograph. These young men have just brought the 8th championship to the University of Kentucky and all people can do is complain. These kids, and they are kids, have not been allowed to get an extra dime during their time at UK, only receiving their scholarship money. I think they deserve to make a little cash off their signatures. If you don’t want it, don’t buy it…oh, and don’t ***** about it either.
[*]I got a chance to see the Kentucky Wildcat quilt in Bardstown yesterday and it truly is amazing. Eloy signed right above his name(shown above), being the 12th Wildcat to sign it. It is a little ridiculous to try and get $275,000 for it, but if I am Coach Cal I let this lady go to Big Blue Madness and get every signature for now on. One restriction though, you can’t sell it for more than what Anthony Davis wants for an autograph.
[*]If you have looked at the comments on my Terrence Jones autograph signing schedule, you might see one pissed off fan. She said that many did not get autographs in Hazard and that Anthony Davis left early. I blame the people putting on the event for this..not Davis. You have to remember Anthony is 18 years old and I am sure many parents out there know how teenagers can be sometimes. Where are the people handling the event to make sure everyone gets an autograph and that Davis doesn’t leave early?
[*]Did I mention I love running around with Kentucky basketball players because we always get a championship discount at restaurants?
[*]It is a shame that there weren’t a ton of people at the Spring game yesterday, but the real shame of it all is they didn’t punt during the game because there isn’t a punter on the roster that can kick farther than 30 yards. Ouch.
[*]One last thought..Do me a favor, when you see a Kentucky basketball player in a restaurant and he is eating, just leave him alone till he finishes. So rude.
