Since I have had a chance to sit and think about the win over LSU, I thought I would post some observations I made while In Rupp Arena last night.

[*]It was really cool for Randall Cobb to do the Y with the cheerleaders. Kentucky great Kevin Grevey was also there, but he was announced earlier in the 1st half. Makes you wonder if Grevey was supposed to be the K instead of Cobb, but since Randall decided to go the NFL, they pushed Kevin to the first half.
[*]One other bit of news came out of Cobb being there, was no student has ever been the Y before. DeWayne Peevy confirmed on twitter that Randall was no longer a student at UK. I would guess he is starting to work out and then of course the process of finding an agent would take place as well.
[*]Doron Lamb wasn’t a happy camper after the game in the locker rom. He was sitting with his hood on and ate while everyone else was being interviewed. Did he get chewed out in the postgame talk by Calipari? Was he not happy with his own performance? Maybe he was just hungry…
[*]Terrence Jones likes to shoot…a lot.
[*]I still get amazed with how the Rupp Arena crowd gets so excited over the least little thing. Eloy Vargas grabbing a loose ball sounded like Knight hitting his half court shot. Jon Hood getting a rebound and a putback was like Tayshaun’s 5 threes in a row…Ok, I am exaggerating a little bit.. But you know what I mean.
[*]I am sitting courtside at Memorial Coliseum as I write this getting ready for UK Hoops vs. Mississippi State. I will try to keep a running blog on the site of what is going on. If I don’t update for a while,,, I probably had to use the restroom… or kicked out for yelling at officials… Lets Hope Not anyway!! Go Cats!
