Everyone is wondering what the week ahead holds for Enes Kanter. And I mean everyone. Big Blue Nation has been waiting anxiously each week for news on the ruling from the NCAA. No one knows and anything else is nothing less than pure speculation. Jerry Tipton recently said we could presume that Enes will be ruled ineligible again by the NCAA.[PRBREAK][/PRBREAK]
Presumptions on the outcome and presumptions on when that outcome will occur have left us all drooling for facts. Facts that as of this writing, no one has. Not Jerry Tipton, not Coach Cal, not Enes Kanter, not even Santa Claus.
Seemingly the only factual information we have in the case is that nothing will happen this week. “There will be no decision on the prospective student-athlete’s initial eligibility until after the first of the year. Any reports saying otherwise are wrong,” NCAA spokesman Chuck Wynne stated.
And therefore the week ahead for Enes Kanter seems like it will be a quiet one. The Wildcats will go at least one more Kanter-less week and face Coppin State on Tuesday and Louisville on Friday.
