Here in my hometown of Louisville, Kentucky there is a St. Patrick’s day parade every year on this weekend. In a way, it resembles the SEC tournament down in CATlanta: Everyone is dressed up in the same color, Everyone has a little too much to drink, and Everyone gets rowdy for the same cause.
This led me to think, how lucky we are as Wildcat fans. We have seven national titles, more SEC regular season and tournament championships than one can count, and a fan base that is more passionate than any other in the country. When I go to a game, the Big Blue Nation is loud and proud and it leaves me with chills at one point or another during the game and I think, wow I am lucky.
I personally think Kentucky has been lucky this season to survive with a 6 player rotation (KNOCK ON WOOD!) I also think they have been lucky with the progression of Brandon Knight and Josh Harrellson (JORTS!!) They have also been lucky to get such a great draw in the SEC tournament.
So tell me Big Blue Nation, how do you think the Cats have been lucky this season?
