[TD]Jones is averaging 18.9 points and 10.2 rebounds for the 17th-ranked Wildcats. He’s the nation’s biggest individual surprise because he wasn’t hyped nearly as much as John Wall and DeMarcus Cousins last preseason, or even teammate Brandon Knight this preseason. The 6-8 forward is strong and tenacious, just devastating when he faces up against other big forwards. He’s already scored at least 25 points three times and grabbed 17 rebounds twice. Barring a collapse, Jones will win SEC Player of the Year and have the Wildcats in play to take the conference title.
