Terrence Jones and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist both had their NBA Summer League debuts this evening and they definitely did not disappoint.
Terrence Jones had 17 points on 4-11 shooting, 1-2 from behind the arc, and an excellent 8-8 from the free throw line in a 93-81 win over the Toronto Raptors.
Jones also had 9 rebounds in his 24 minutes of playing time.
Terrence’s perfection at the free throw line stood out to me the most, which shows how much he has been working on one of his biggest deficiencies.
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist made Michael Jordan look like he finally got one right, as MKG finished with 18 points on 7-12 shooting, 1-1 from the three, and 3-6 from the free throw line as the Bobcats beat the Kings 121-87.
Michael grabbed 8 boards, dished out 5 assists, and also had 4 steals proving his draft status as one of the most overall players in the draft, and eventually the entire league.
MKG plays again tomorrow at 8:30pm and Terrence is off until Monday at 6:30pm as the Rockets will face the Kings.
