Team USA dominated France this morning 98-71 for their 1st win at the 2012 London Olympic Games.
Anthony Davis played for the first time with around 8 minutes to go in the game and was involved in the action as his teammates tried to get him in the scoring column quickly with 2 lob passes.
Davis couldn’t handle either one, but slammed down the 3rd attempt for his first 2 points in Olympic play. He was also 1-2 from the free throw line to finish with 3 points.
Davis also had 2 rebounds, a block, and a foul as the United States cruised to the big win.
Kevin Durant and Lebron James were the stars for Team USA though, with James distributing the ball like Magic Johnson and Durant doing the scoring.
Team USA next plays Tunisia Tuesday in London.
