I have been impressed with Ohio State freshman Jared Sullinger this week.
He seems to know what to say and when to say it.
Sullinger, maybe the top pick in next year’s NBA Draft, has a lot of respect for Kentucky and isn’t afraid to talk about it.
“They like to get up and down as an athletic team,” Sullinger said.
“I have a lot of respect for them, because they’re a lot more disciplined than they get credit for.”
I know everyone thinks the key to the game is stopping the outside shooting of the Buckeyes, but I tend to disagree.
If the Cats don’t stop the inside game of Sullinger, there will be no need to shoot the basketball outside the arc.
Josh Harrellson has to stay out of foul trouble, because I don’t think I am the only one that would be weary of a Sullinger vs. Vargas matchup for a long period of time.
Expect Coach Thad Matta to have the ball pounded down low early and get Sullinger going.
We will all know the theme of the game inside the first 5 minutes of play…if Harrellson gets 2 quick ones, it could be a long night for the Cats.
