It’s been 2 weeks since the submission of new information by the University of Kentucky. New information that is thought to be similar to the Cam Newton case. The Auburn quarterback was ruled eligible by the NCAA since he was not aware of his father’s intent to shop his son for play. UK provided new information just after the Newton ruling and therefore it is widely thought that Kentucky must be attempting to prove that like Cam, Enes knew nothing of his family receiving impermissible benefits.

But we already know all of that. We know everything there is to know about the Kanter case except for if he will be ruled eligible or not and when that ruling will be announced.
After submitting the new information to the NCAA, it was expected that a ruling would come out in 2 weeks. 2 weeks have now come and gone and there is nothing new to report. Not a peep. Not a word.
Coach Calipari said yesterday that a ruling should come soon. Soon leaves people on edge, it’s too subjective. Give us an answer now, Coach, give us an answer! Oh wait, Coach Cal most likely doesn’t know when the ruling will come either and this is probably as frustrated as you an I.
We’ll just have to sit back and wait this thing out together. Kanter is waiting. Coach is waiting. Big Blue Nation is waiting. The good news is, at least there is a Kentucky game to watch which starts at 8:00pm tonight. Like a ruling on Kanter, it won’t come “soon” enough.
