Quotes of note:

“Poole is a treat to watch; he attacks the rim repeatedly in the open court, where he is a highlight waiting to happen. In transition, Poole sprints the lane and keeps constant pressure on the defense. He can and will power slam on any clear paths to the rim with his explosive athletic ability. He is a perimeter player who slashes to the basket and finishes in the lane with great body control, using either hand.” – Paul Biancardi, ESPN – September 24, 2009

”Stacey Poole is in the line of players that we’ve signed in the past who have a skill set and the work ethic to play in our system… He’s a slasher who can play multiple positions and a defender that is capable of shutting down people. Stacey really wanted to play for us and we’re glad to have him as a part of the UK family.” – John Calipari, November 12, 2009

“Calipari said Poole, like Kanter, was more skilled with the ball than he had projected.”
