I was surprised to hear this evening from 2 reliable sources that DeAndre Daniels would eventually end up at Kentucky. I thought that ship had sailed since Daniels had said he will not play this year, but will enroll at the school he decides to go to in January.

There are other websites reporting they are hearing he is going to go to NC State in which he is visiting on Dec. 19th, but my sources are pretty positive that Kentucky fans will be happy after Daniels makes his decision. My main concern with this bit of information is what does that do to Trevor Lacey’s chances of coming to Kentucky? I like Lacey a lot and would prefer him over Daniels. Maybe Cal takes them both? If he does, what happens with the returning players which will open up a scholarship? Of course, that remains to be seen and is totally up to Coach Calipari.
I guess we have something to keep an eye on in the next couple of weeks to see how all of this plays out. One thing about recruiting at Kentucky, it is always interesting since Coach Cal has taken over the reigns.
