Calipari had a visitor this week that offered an extra set of eyes. No problem, right? Well, Not so fast.
It all started with a few comments from Josh Harrellson. Then Jerry Tipton is quick to point out the possible NCAA violations that may have occured if Larry Brown did address the players during practice.
So who do we turn to?
[PRBREAK][/PRBREAK]
The one person that’s been successful in wading these muddy waters the NCAA lives and breaths in. The one person that’s been successful at keeping UK clean when it seems everyone is out to get us.
Who is that? Sandy Bell.. Here’s what she had to say about the situation…
[QUOTE=Kentucky.com]Sandy Bell, Kentucky’s chief compliance officer, said Saturday she was confident that no violation of NCAA rules occurred during Brown’s visit.
“They know what they can and can’t do,” Bell said of the UK coaches. “We’ve been talking to people all week.”
UK also checked with the Southeastern Conference, Bell said.
Later, Bell acknowledged that she could not rule out with 100 percent certitude that Brown did not unwittingly violate an NCAA rule.
“If he did, we’ll deal with it,” said Bell, who added that it would be a secondary violation.
Bell likened Brown’s presence to a motivational speaker rather than a coach.
“I’ve never seen anyone coach but Cal,” she said. “Ever.”

I’m not sure if he did, or if he didn’t. At the end of the day, I don’t think it’s anything to be too worried about. The ball is in Sandy’s court and there’s no one in the country better than her.
Go get em’ Sandy!
