Kentucky’s backup safety, Dakotah Tyler, is no longer a part of the Wildcat program, via the [URL=”http://www.courier-journal.com/article/20110720/SPORTS03/307200076/Kentucky-safety-Dakotah-Tyler-no-longer-team?odyssey=nav%7Chead”]Courier-Journal[/URL].
Tyler, who stands at 5’11”, 195-pounds, was not listed on the UK roster, which was released in the football media guide handed out at SEC media days. School officials also told the Courier-Journal that Tyler is not enrolled at school in the fall but he could return to the program.
Tyler is a sophomore from Indianapolis Pike High School. During his redshirt freshman season, he compiled 13 tackles in 11 games as the backup safety.
After spring practices, he was placed on the depth chart as backup safety for the 2011 season.
