[B]Kentucky senior Rondel Sorrillo[/B] capped off an outstanding track and field career by becoming UK’s first ever NCAA Champion in the 200-meter dash.
Sorrillo, who is an eight time All-American at UK, finished with an impressive time of 20.36 seconds, which is just behind his school-record time of 20.29.
Sorrillo’s heroics helped [B]Kentucky finished 13th overall at the NCAA Track and Field Championships.[/B] The team total of 18 points was the second most in UK history behind the 25 they accumulated in 2008.
