Everyone is eagerly awaiting some kind of announcement concerning Enes Kanter and I’m definitely one of those people. Yes, I’m a UK fan, and that means I’m biased. But I can’t believe anyone that can honestly say the NCAA has just cause in making any ruling that doesn’t make Kanter eligible.

While you were out buying those last minute Christmas gifts, you may have missed the NCAA ruling concerning a number of Ohio State football players. The players were found to be in violation of NCAA rules when they sold a number of personal items and exchanged autographs for tattoos (bound to an everyday occurrence at UT.. just saying).
That’s not so hard to believe. What is hard to believe is the fact that the NCAA suspended the players for four game… NEXT SEASON! That’s right.. They’re allowed to play in the bowl game, but will sit out four games next season. It seems the NCAA thought the players hadn’t been properly trained on this set of rules.
I think Coach Brooks just called Bull #$%& on this one!
So if a lack of training makes it OK, I would think Enes would be playing by now … right? Because I’m sure there’s not any training in Turkey! Right?! It’s obvious he was attempting to do everything possible to maintain his status as an amateur.

So why is this decision so hard to make?[/B]
