Randall Cobb Wants to Improve 40-Yard Time

Former Kentucky wide receiver Randall Cobb is hoping to increase his recorded speed in the 40-yard dash.

Cobb was clocked at 4.55 seconds last spring at Kentucky, which raised some questions about his quickness.

The former Wildcat told the Baltimore Sun that he hopes to change that perception at the NFL Scouting Combine:

“Just shatter any expectation anybody has of me,” Cobb said. “I thought I played fast. Maybe I didn’t look as quick as I am. Hopefully, I can prove how much time I’ve put into it and the techniques I’ve been working on to improve my 40.”

The latest mock draft from ESPN draft expert Todd McShay has Cobb going to the Ravens at the 26th overall pick.
