Rajon Rondo was in the zone.
He couldn’t miss.
Kentucky alum Rajon Rondo had 44 points, 10 assists, and 8 rebounds in a game 2 overtime loss last night to the Miami Heat 115-111.
Rondo was 16-24 from the field, 2-2 from behind the arc, and 10-12 from the free throw line as he gave the Celtics every chance in the world to get out of Miami with 1 win, but it was to no avail.
Lebron James led the Heat with 34 points, but could have ended the game in regulation, missing a jumper over Rondo as the horn sounded.
The Celtics are down 2-0 going back to Boston for Game 3 on Friday at 8:30.
