Last night on ESPN, UK target [URL=”http://www.wildcatrecruits.com/playerProfile.php?Contact_ID=571&Recruit=Alex-Poythress”]Alex Poythress[/URL] and the Georgia Stars played Isaiah Austin and the Texas Pros in the 17U Super Showcase. It took overtime to do it, but the Stars fell to the Pros, 79-77.
Poythress scored 26 in the loss, with former Kentucky target Tony Parker getting a double-double (17 points, 11 rebounds).
With less than 30 seconds left in overtime, Poythress had the ball and an opportunity to tie or take the lead. He took a shot that was blocked by Austin, and the Pros got the ball and the win.
