It would be one of only a few times that a true Indiana fan would welcome a Wildcat with open arms. In this case, we’re talking about Patrick Patterson playing for the Indiana Pacers. We’ve often called him P[SUP]2[/SUP], would we call if P[SUP]3[/SUP] if he ended up there? Whatever he is called, I would watch some Pacers games next year.[PRBREAK][/PRBREAK]
“I hope to go Lottery, that is my main goal. If I’m around at the tenth pick, hopefully they’ll take me,” said Patterson to a large group of Indiana reporters following his workout with the Pacers Monday.
“When you get there, that is the best part. Seeing the coaching staff, seeing the players, seeing the city, and actually stepping out on the court, but the hardest part is definitely the travel,” added Patterson.
I am pretty sure that he’ll be a lottery pick. I think he’ll be top ten. Patrick is too good on and off the court to go anything less. In his last year at UK, Patterson had the opportunity to display his outside game, something not seen in the first two years under Billy Clyde.
“A lot of teams aren’t really sure what I’m capable of,” he said. “They know I’m a four-man, I can go and post up. They’re not really as well informed with my perimeter game, my jump shots, putting the ball on the floor, and also my face-up game and my defense that’s improved.”
