We don’t know when yet, but it will be soon. Adam Zagoria reported that the 4-star SG from the class of 2012 would be visiting Connecticut soon and that they were favored to win his commitment at this time. Now NBC is confirming the intended visit and reminds us that UConn only has one 2012 recruit at this time (Ryan Boatright – nevermind the fact that Kentucky has NO 2012 recruits yet, but you don’t see us sweating do you?).
Kentucky is also recruiting Omar Calhoun, but has not offered yet. Calhoun’s list includes UConn, North Carolina, Kentucky, Pittsburgh, Villanova, West Virginia, Georgetown, Seton Hall and Maryland among others (I count 15 Div I scholarship offers). In fact, it looks like the only schools NOT offering Calhoun are Georgetown, Kentucky and North Carolina.
