Basketball

Now we’re talking Cuz

A few days ago we took a stand against the Boogie haters and pointed out that DeMarcus Cousins was definitely mature enough for the NBA. In fact, in more ways then most, he is better equipped for the NBA since he is a great entertainer. Now it seems as if others are seeing Big Cuz in the same way we have and are joining in the campaign. [In this image, DeMarcus takes a beating that wasn’t even called as a flagarant foul. He handled the situation with much composure and maturity and never lashed back.]

Patrick Hayes from The Flint Journal had this to say:
Cousins is obviously a beast down low on the court, and to me, his maturity is not anymore a concern than it would be with any 19-year-old prospect. All 19-year-olds, to some extent, have maturity issues. But those alone should not be a reason to dissuade any team from drafting Cousins.
That is our point and rationalism should put the issue to sleep. Any 19 year old is going to have developmental opportunities. Cousins has his opportunities but he has an upper hand in that he has dealt with more adversity and carried more weight on his shoulders that most could fathom. Being a super-star isn’t easy, but Cousins does it well.

It’s bed time for all you haters out there.
