There has been talk since the UIFL penalized the Northern Kentucky River Monsters for breaking the league’s salary cap that the franchise would break away from the league and join another.
Looks like that is going to happen now.

Nothern Kentucky had the best player in Jared Lorenzen and probably the largest attendance in the UIFL.
It will be interesting to see what kind of effect this has on the league as a whole and how it effects it’s future existence.
