No Shock Here

It was only a matter of time. Even with the infamous Tim Fuller as an assistant “coach” at the University of Louisville, the Rodney Purvis commitment always felt like it could waver. Once Fuller departed Louisville after only one year on the staff, the only question was when? When will he de-commit?

Today was the day……the day that Purvis finally decided to take another look at his options. Shortly after stating that he was opening back up his recruitment, he released a list of his “top four” schools: Louisville, Kentucky, Duke and North Carolina State. No shock here, the top point guard in the 2012 class has added Kentucky to his list.

Per the Cats Pause, Purvis had this to say about Kentucky, “Coach Calipari having all those great guards, that’s going to favor me a little bit.”

I’d say so Rodney. History does not lie and Cal’s record speaks for itself. No coach is better this day and age than Calipari with getting star point guards not just to the league, but in positions to succeed in both life and basketball.

Come on over to the good side Rodney, GO CATS!
