After two tough road losses, the Cats looked forward to getting back in the friendly confines of Memorial Coliseum. Well, maybe not. The first half was a half f runs by both teams.
After the first eight minutes of play, the two teams were all tie at 14 a piece, Then Georgia took over as they reeled off 11 straight over the next 7:16.

Coach Mitchell called a 30 second timeout and the Cats responded with an answer of their own as they scored 8 straight behind A’die Mathies’ four points and one assist. Kentucky’s defense turned up the heat as the Wildcats created four turnover during the 3:46 period.
The last 0:34 second of the half was frantic as Kentucky reeled off 5 straight points to end the half and draw with four of the Lady Bulldogs,
Mathies leads Kentucky with 8 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists. Samantha Drake, Maegan Conwright and Kastine Evans each have 5 points.
Porsha Phillips leads all players with 10 points and 6 boards for the visiting Bulldogs.
Expect a hectic, high energy second half from both teams, but especially Kentucky as they will have to rally to put a stop to the two game loss streak and ensure the home winning streak continues.
