[*]Marquis Teague saying he is looking forward to playing with Brandon Knight today sparked discussion that next year’s roster could be the most talented of all time. The only problem I have with that is we got to the Final 4 with 6 players this year. Next year there could be a 10 man rotation, which was what we basically had the year before. If Cal can manueuver enough ways to make everyone happy and get every one enough shots then it may be possible to run the table in the SEC next year. Heck, the Cats could run the table the entire year next year…wait a minute… I am looking too far ahead. Brandon Knight, Terrence Jones, and DeAndre Liggins still have a decision to make. Are Kentucky fans too gullible to think all three will come back??
[*]The NBA Lockout is looming and this could be the huge factor to get the dream team all Kentucky fans are wanting. With the rumors the Summer League will be canceled one has to think David Stern is weary of no NBA season. With all of the top talent already staying in school, one would have to think there is a better than average chance 1 or 2 stays to try and win #8 next year…
[*]Weather stopped Coach Cal from taking his trip to Alabama today to visit top recruit Trevor Lacey. It is said that Cal will reschedule his trip until at least next week.
[*]Mr. Cobble, a defensive lineman that didn’t get to play last season, will be out 4 months due to surgery on a torn labrum. Cobble will hopefully be back by September and be ready a couple of games into the season. Cobble is looked upon as a big piece to the defensive puzzle in the upcoming season for Rick Minter.
[*]NOB’s Garrett Tucker is going to be on ESPN Radio which is 680am in Louisville. There is a live stream and Garrett will be on the air around 9am Saturday morning. You can listen to the live stream at http://www.espnlouisville.com/. I am sure Garrett will have recruiting news the Nation will be interested in.
