What’s up Big Blue Nation?
My name is Hunter Bowles and I am a tight end for the Glasgow Scotties in the small town of Glasgow, Kentucky. For those that don’t know what a Scottie is, it’s just a scottie dog…haha.
Baseball is my current sport. Our team has a record of 2-2, but we continue to get better every time we step on the field. I start at 1st base and I pitch. You could say that I get the small pitching ability I have from my father, Matt Bowles. He pitched for UK in the mid-90’s. He then went on to play professional ball under the Milwaukee Brewers organization. The team and I leave this weekend for a tournament in Destin, Florida.
On the way down, my family and I will take a visit to the University of South Alabama, located in Mobile. I’ll spend all of next week in Destin for spring break.
I’m really looking forward to this Saturday to get to watch Kentucky in the Final Four. KembaCONN — I mean UCONN better be ready for the Cats!
Once spring break’s over I’ll continue to play baseball and lift for next fall. I’m looking forward to the spring practices and camps ahead this summer!
I’ll keep you updated! Nice talking to you guys and don’t forget to watch the game this Saturday and support the Cats to number 8!
